Angello, Jr., correspondent, note of October 25th, 2005 There is a discrepancy in the year of Belinda's death: As given by Ellen Weed Marvin and as shown on the headstone in Maple Grove Cemetery, the year of Belinda's death was 1895. All our family papers have the date of Belinda's death as 17 Feb 1894. A "Weed Family Bible" in the possession of Virginia Hope Daughtrey, great-granddaughter of Theodore H. and Adella Dow Weed, also gives the date of Belinda's death as 17 Feb 1894.

Angelo, Jr., correspondent, note of October 22nd, 2005 Denise Youngen obtained a copy of a letter to the New Canaan Historical Society from Ellen Weed Marvin stating, in part, "My mother was born in Otisco N.Y. in 1807 and died in Syracuse in 1895."
