From Howard Mason, correspondent Most of the following informationcame from the family bible. Adinah S. Lindenberger(known as Adina), born 27, Jan. 1839, and died in 1891 inLodi, (San Joaquin Co.) California. She marriedLouis Thomas Mason, on 25, Nov. 1862. Louis was bornon 6, Nov. 1841, and died 1890. His father wasDaniel Mason and mother was Emily T. and her father wasChiristopher Lindenberger and mother Rhoda. This isas far back as I can go. It looks like youcould have hit a spot. Also Louis Thomas Mason wentto Oberlin Theological Serminary at Oberlin, Ohio, in July31, 1874, and became a Congregational minster. He was aminster at Ellington N.Y. 1875-1877, Centre LisleN.Y. 1877- 1879, Munnsville N.Y. 1879-1880,Austerlitz N.Y. 1880-1881, Camp Creek Neb. 1881-1883. San Jose, California 1883-1886. They had the following children, Wilton MarcellusSept 25, 1863(became a doctor), Herschel Theodore (mygrandfather), Morris, May 16, 1868, Ida, Jan 20,1871, Lewis Thomas, Apr. 14, 1875, Myrtle June 5, 1877, Bertha 1879, Nellie 1873. I have onepicture of them sitting in a buggy. They a both bur. atLodi, California.
