- From Jane Sanderman Mason, correspondent, note of November21, 2010
Joseph is not enumerated with his parents in 1850. There issome question re whether Joseph is John, etc. The followingJoseph fits by age and is living in the same town. In 1865Jane reported she had 5 children.
The 1840 census indicates 4 children with 2 boys under 5which I believe represent Joseph (c1838) and John (c1840) .The 2 girls would appear to be Mary (c1832) and Abby(c1836). [3]
